Learning to make a list before you head out will help assure that you are making good choices while you are at the market. It’s a great healthy habit to build from a very early age…even the littlest of chickins can help you with your inventory at home, holding onto the list in the store, or helping find items on the list.
Our shopping lists have 60 sheets of printed lists broken down by Feed Groups: GRAINS/BREAD/PASTA, VEGGIES, FRUIT, CALCIUM/DAIRY, PROTEIN, ETC. with little “icons” representing the groups for those that aren’t yet reading. “get some groceries” lists measure 8 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ and have a magnet on the back so they can hang out on the fridge!
